The Forgotten Warrior Memorial,
The Forgotten Warrior Memorial was built as a tribute to all those veterans who have served and sacrificed their lives as a direct result of PTSD. This beautiful monument is located in scenic Channahon State Park and serves as a reminder that PTSD is a real wound acquired in war that needs to be treated long after returning home. The Veterans Administration tells us that 22 lives are lost every day due to PTSD from the trauma of war.

You can memorialize your loved one with a permanent tribute by adding his/her name to the Forgotten Warrior Memorial. Their name will be engraved into the granite stone representing their branch of service and ensure they are remembered forever.

The Forgotten Warrior Memorial was erected under the direction of Michael Tellerino, a new 501(c)3 has been created specifically for the memorial and it is now maintained solely through the hard work of the volunteer directors of the Forgotten Warrior Memorial nfp and generous donations. We felt it was our duty to honor these brave veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
We rely exclusively on donations from our generous supporters to maintain the Memorial and surrounding grounds. Please give whatever you can to honor these brave veterans who were not able to be saved in time.
